Vapi GCC Plant

 

This project involved the building of a granulated calcium carbonate (GCC) plant in Vapi, India. The plant  consists of huge grinders, a weigh bridge, storage tanks, piping system, structures, conveyors, bucket elevators etc. The plant had to be custom designed to accommodate into an existing building and layout. We made a site visit to assess and made some dimensional checks to ensure a trouble-free design.

We undertook the design and tender documentation of the whole project i.e. Civil, Mechanical with the exception of Electrical/Controls. From their conceptual specifications and P&IDs, we came out with the design of the plant including the construction drawings for the Civil, Structural and Mechanical scope of works.

We provided the Owner with a complete set of tender documentation with the relevant drawings, specifications etc. The tender documents which were sufficiently detailed (drawings & specifications) for Vendors to submit a quote for the turnkey supply and erection of the plant.
